Regatta De Last Exit! The second album and they were still doing cover versions of old Last Exit material. As for 3:30 the guy just got it plain wrong re Sting having never been to London before Stewart called him down. In reality Stung was doing gigs in London in 1976 before he ever met Stewart. Even after forming the police they were still playing old Last Exit material in the punk clubs and continued to do Last Exit cover versions recorded for other albums including Brimstone and Synchronicity (& Dream of the Blue Turtles afterwards.) Henri talks about uncool with links to Last Exit but in reality the LX material gave the police so many of the biggest police hits ever recorded

When the british narrator keeps referring to that " right wing redneck " and " right wing attitude " he needs to research the south at that time and the history of the south. The south were Democrats and Lynyrd Skynyrd endorsed Jimmy Carter

All along concerts and videos concerning the guys throughout the years l’ve made comments. I grew up with them, continued to play because of them. Fortunately l had the fortunate opportunity to see them the first time in 1968 in a large tent in Camden County N.J. You must remember that these three musicians were the best in their field in the world at the time. While they played entire audiences say with their mouths wide open and could not believe what they were hearing. And when they were done playing, people exploded into applause.Don’t believe me? Listen and study for 50 years as l have. Been a musician since 15 and they a huge influence why l a m still playing. I mean no harm but when I read some of the comments l don’t.know whether to think that you never listened or just didn’t hand in your homework. Truly they’re the best there was and l’ve heard them all. Peace to all. Rocky

It was known they grew up together and in High School they had a real disciplinary I thought it was a science Teacher but here they say it was a Physical Ed Teacher and knowing giving the Band his Name would make sure he never forgot them [ I'm sure them boys gave him HELL

My understanding is that RB had no interest in them orchestra collaboration, and that was JL's baby. So it wasn't ritchie trying to do anything with DP. As RB says in this video. It was just the name thrashing around trying to find an identity 16:46

Hemispheres and 2112 had very little in common, neither conceptually nor musically. 2112 was a future shock dystopia ruled by a theocratic regime, musically driven by chunky power chords, furious shredding lead guitars and Geddy's shrieking banshee vocals. 9/10 Hemispheres is about the battle between emotion and intellect, expressed as two Gods in conflict over the human plight, leaving humanity in a constant tug-of-war between the two extremes, until a new, third being intervenes as a reconciling force to keep consciousness in balance. Musically, shifting from vast, ambient chordal arrangements to fast hard hitting orchestral power and hypnotic atmospheres. 8/10 These two things are NOT the same!!!

These 'music journalists' are losers who dropped out of college and were barely literate stoners. In other words, they are groupies! Look at the trash rag RS has become. can you please stop dragging jazz into this? cause it has absolutely NOTHING to do with jazz. playing a few 7 chords here and there, a few paradiddles in some transitional odd time signatures and an exotic chord extension once in a blue moon doesnt make it "jazz". its literally hard rock with blues influences. thats what it is, thats what most accurately describes it. why not leave it at that? why do people feel the need to call anything jazz the second it diviates even slightly from the basic structure of a pop and rock song? you'd have to REALLY scrape the bottom of the barrel and bend over backwards to be able to find any authentic jazz harmony, vocabulary, feel or flavor in any of this... its like saying something random like "this is proto techno music" (and i guess if you dug hard enough you might find some convoluted, roundabout ways to equate the two via some forced mental gymnastics). but thats writing the story to fit the main premise whats the point? why cant one thing just be "one thing" and thats it?

Love Thin Lizzy, but this was absolute garbage! Nothing to do with "Live & Dangerous" the album, just a handful of mostly unknowns "analysing" some parts of songs! The title is misleading! Always nice to see Phil's Mum though, I skipped through the rest as there's nothing new or revealing to see here! And it mentions "Interview with Phil Lynott" Well I must have blinked and missed that!?! Hopefully someone will do a proper analysis of the "Live & Dangerous" album and not just use the title for click-bait! Although the gig at Sydney Opera House was fantastic (most/all of the shots in this video are from that Sydney Opera House gig) However the album "Live & Dangerous" was out 6 months BEFORE they even played in Australia! Thus nothing from the Sydney Opera House gig was used on the album "Live & Dangerous" This video is just cheap, cobbled-together misleading BS!
